Herschel Guy Beahm IV, popularly known by his Fortnite username ‘Dr DisRespect’, is an American streamer and professional esports player. He started his career of professional gaming in January 2010, i.e. at the age of 28. Over 9 years, he has played a variety of games such as Blackout, Apex Legends, H1Z1, PUBG and Fortnite. He is a well-known Twitch streamer and a YouTuber who has a strong fan following amongst the Fortnite audience and is known for still playing a variety of games every now and then and uploading the gameplays on his streaming channels.
Dr DisRespect is known for being a streamer who appears in style. He is known for wearing a 80s look wig and a fake moustache along with a sunglass. This appearance was inspired by his favourite rock star and would always appear dressed up in all of his broadcasting videos. Although Dr DisRespect started his career at the age of 12, in 1994 for a Video game tournament and won the tournament, he officially started streaming and playing for team in 2010. Before 2010, he used to play randomly at few tournaments as a solo player. Since he was interested in gaming he shifted to designing games for four years, he worked as a community manager and Map designer for Sledgehammer games. After four years he quit being a working professional and pursued gaming as a full-time profession.
Dr DisRespect has more than 4 million subscribers for his Twitch channel and has 160 million views for his Twitch videos. He also has 1.4 million subscribers for his YouTube channel and has more than 101 million views for his videos. His passion for esports started at a very young age and has been continuously pursuing is for decades now. He is one of the oldest professional esports players as his first tournament was in 1993. He also won the title of ‘Twitch Streamer of the Year’ in 2017 making him one of the most famous esports players for all games.
