Jimmy Moreno, widely known as HighDistortion, is an American Fortnite professional esports player, and a renown Twitch streamer as well. He was born in New Jersey on January 7, 1985. He is known to be a player for SoloMid as of today, but he started his career as a Fortnite player and a streamer way back in 2015 when streaming was starting to become a popular hobby for pro gamers.
HighDistortion, or HD as what most want to call him, had a very long career in esports even before streaming in Twtich became popular. He is a famous pro player in Gears of War during its golden years, and he was a big part of the game’s community for ten years. He has joined several teams during his tenure in Gears of War, joining and winning several tournaments over the span of his career. After his retirement, he joined Overwatch and gained a multitude of followers for his awesome gaming skills. However, his switch to Fortnite gained him an even higher amount of followers over the long run.
He played Fortnite when his Overwatch account got suspended, and started playing it extensively because of his newfound enjoyment for it. His renown skills as a solo player, and a specialist in clutch scenarios, made him extremely popular in the Fortnite community. This gained him a spot in professional organizations Team SoloMid, which is current team as of now.
