Chris de Jong, popularly known by his Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) username ‘ChrisJ’, is a Dutch streamer and a professional esports player. ChrisJ derived his username from his first name and the initial of his last name. He started his professional esports career in 2011 with Counter-Strike 1.6 (CS 1.6) and later shifted to CS: GO. ChrisJ played CS 1.6 till 2012 and then shifted to CS: GO when an opportunity with ChillTeam came. Since late 2012, and at the age of 22, ChrisJ has been playing CS: GO since then.Â
ChrisJ started getting recognized by other teams when he started playing for Playing Ducks, which is a German esports organisation that has international teams and team members. He later signed a contract with mousesports and has been playing for the esports organisation since then. ChrisJ was inactive for a couple of months through his contract with mousesports i.e. from 2013 to date and is currently playing in a tournament for mousesports. ChrisJ has won around US $600K as winnings reward for his participation in winning the titles for various tournaments. He is also present in various social media platforms and is a streamer of Facebook and Twitch (a famous website for gaming streamers).
